Sound Therapy, What is it?

Sound has been used as a healing or calming tool for thousands of years. Himalayan singing bowls (standing bells that "sing") have been used throughout Asia for thousands of years in prayer and meditation, and are now used to promote relaxation and well-being.

Sound therapy is a complementary medicine designed to work alongside orthodox medicine and other alternative healing therapies. Sound has been used to help individuals with a variety of health issues: fertility issues, chronic pain, cancer, stress-related illnesses, and many other issues.

Sound therapy is said to help not only physical illness but also help balance the emotions and quiet a busy mind.

I have been using sound therapy in my Craniosacral and Massage sessions to help enhance my clients' experience.

Massage Therapy for Health and Beauty

This is the beauty of bodywork. Taking part in this form of regularly scheduled self-care can play a huge part in how healthy you’ll be and how youthful you’ll remain with each passing year.

Budgeting time and money for bodywork at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health. And remember, just because a Massage Session feels like a pampering treat doesn’t mean it is any less therapeutic.
